At least 6 persons were seriously injured in Tripura on 75th Independence Day after BJP's organized attacks in various spots of South Tripura on Trinamool leaders, members which has generated panic. Such attacks are not new in Tripura but after Trinamool Congress since its Bengal Poll results suddenly emerged as a strong opposition party in Tripura, the party members are facing tremendous attacks everyday.

Trinamool leader Subal Bhowmik told the media that in the last 14 days, at least 12 vehicles of Trinamool were damaged and 10 attacks took place. It has been alleged that a murder attempt has taken place today on MP Aparupa Poddar and MP Dola Sen and while saving them, PA of Aparupa Poddar received severe injuries. The vehicle was vandalized and the injured persons underwent treatments at Agartala GB Hospital.
