Two-day passport seva camp begins at Agartala

AGARTALA, December 20 (TIWN): In order to expand the outreach passport services, the two day long passport seva camp begins at Agartala to facilitate submission of passport applications by residents of the Tripura. The passport seva camp will continue till December 21st

The camp was organized at the premises of Secretariat and admission to the camp and submission of applications was on appointment basis only. Appointments for the camp were released. Tatkal applications are not be accepted in the Passport Seva Camp. We are expecting around, 300 applicants to benefit from the camp. And we urge the residents of the Tripura to participate in the Passport Seva Camp, interested applicants have to log on to the official website www.passportindia.gov.in and register online, generate an Application Registration Number (ARN), pay online fees and then take the appointment, said a official of the passport seva camp.

Applicants must have to bring the printout of the ARN with appointment details to the venue, along with the requisite documents in originals, 2 passport size photographs (with white background) and one set of self-attested photocopies of all documents, the official mentioned.

Tripura is having a regional passport office from the current financial year. The state has been long facing troubles for securing international passports from the regional centre at Kolkata. But now, all the problems came to an end.
