AGARTALA, Aug 7 (TIWN): Power disruption for long hours made normal people’s lives pathetic, especially in rural areas. For last few days in Khowai subdivision is reeling under massive Power disruption. CPI-M has staged protest against this daily problems of the common men.

A CPI-M agitator told media, “In CPIM era for the benefit of Patients solar lights and Generators were purchased for the Khowai District Hospital but more than a year the solar lights and Generators have become crippled and there is no attempt to repair them”. 

Before the Protest staged in front of Power Department, CPI-M leaders organized a rally and walked across various places of Khowai.

However, the Power disruptions are not only happening in Khowai district, but state-wide people are facing massive problems due to frequent power cuts.
