Talking to media, Birjit Sinha said that the MLA had asked ADM to pressurize the bank to withdraw the restriction from chit fund account and the bank was forced to do that and by that time, the money was already taken away.

"The BJP MLA Bhagaban Das wrote a letter to ADM, Unakoti to reopen the account of a chit fund that has been seized by the government of Tripura itself. How can an MLA demand something like this? What interest of him is involved with the chit fund reopen? And the ADM also granted the permission without discussing it with the DM or the Government. This is a very dangerous thing for our society. We are suspecting a total of 5 crore scam in this case. We have the documents with us and after proper investigation the actual land value will come out" Said Birjit Sinha.

Birjit Sinha also said that behind such an illegal activity, no permission from the Govt was taken. No signature of the District Magistrate was taken. 

Birjit Sinha also said he will move to the High Court if Govt does not take action.
