AGARTALA, Aug 6 (TIWN): Criticizing the Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath's final statement about TBSE result that Tripura Govt is following West Bengal and CBSE model, students said the Govt is following nothing. The students are strict to their previous demand which was "Pass All Students". A TBSE Student named Nabarun Chakma said, "The Education Minister's statement is incorrect. He has said that Tripura Board is following West Bengal Model but it is not the fact. After long protests, now the Minister has stated that results will be reviewed but if this is the ultimate decision it shows that our demands could not be understood by the Govt itself. We have demanded all students should be passed from external to regular. The Education Minister claimed about following West Bengal and CBSE but the reality is nothing is being followed. Before 2 days of results also the evolution process was changed. Our demand is that all students should be passed".

The protestors also condemned police brutality on NSUI leader Samrat Roy, who was hospitalized after police brutality on him.

Tripura TBSE students recently gheraoed Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath's home demanding all students should be passed.

Since the TBSE result declaration, statewide protests are going on but Education Minister could not came up with a final solution of the students problems. Over 20% students failed in the Madhyamik examination without any Board exam was held.

During protests many students were injured in police brutality and hospitalized.
