AGARTALA, Aug 5 (TIWN): Amid the ongoing protests of students since TBSE result publication, CPI-M's student units SFI and TSU have requested the Education Dept to resolve the issue soon.

Addressing the media, SFI State Secretary Sandeepan Deb said, "The protests are still going on in various parts of the state. Govt should soon meet the end of it and resolve the matter".

"Yesterday, Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath assured us about the result review. We request the process should go fast and the examinations which were promised for the students with unsatisfactory results should also be taken at the earliest", said Deb.

SFI, TSU also held a protest today in front of West Agartala PS against police brutality on the students during a protest in front of Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath's residence.
