AGARTALA, July 4 (TIWN): Trinamool has taken a dig at Tripura opposition Congress and CPI-M for remaining as silent victims against BJP's massive violence. A deputation was placed to DGP V.S. Yadav, sought action against the culprits behind the attack on Trinamool workers and General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee on 1st August. Addressing the media in front of Police headquarter, Trinamool Youth leader Debangshu Bhattacharjee said, "The BJP activists with BJP flags held attacks on us. But their level of criminality was observed when Trinamool General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee was also attacked brutally. Abhishek Banerjee was murdered by BJP goons. Such gundaraj can't be tolerated anymore. We will not allow repetition of such hooliganism and if necessary will take all measures. On the day of the attack, police played a silent role".

"We realize that police also have limitations and if they do not follow the order of the upper section, then they might face punishments but the minimum duty of police should be accomplished and the police's backbone should not be too weak also", he said.

"Only few BJP workers' arrests will not be sufficient but who are the masterminds behind such incidents must have to be revealed. If it does not happen, then bigger protest will be held in the state because Trinamool is not here to digest injustice and attacks of BJP like CPI-M and Congress..............if necessary we will give our blood and our lives but will not bow down to Biplab deb Govt", said Debanshu.
