AGARTALA, July 30 (TIWN): Terminated 10323 teachers called Tripura Govt and its Police 'goons' after on Friday the teachers were arrested.

The comment came from the teachers as the teachers who were beaten up on January 27, 2021 by police injuring over 500 terminated teachers are unable to stage a single protest due to police harassment.

Today also, it was not exceptional. Eventually, Police forcefully arrested all the agitating, terminated teachers. 

"In this pandemic time, we have nothing. We have our families which are affected due to the termination. How to survive without jobs ? We have been in teaching for a long time and for the last 10 years we taught little children dedicatedly but the way police administration has been behaving with us from the beginning as if they are goons........", said a lady terminated teacher with tears in her eyes.

BJP before Assembly Election 2018 had promised the 10323 teachers to make them permanent once BJP is voted to power.
