AGARTALA, July 29 (TIWN): All India Trinamool Congress leaders who have arrived in Tripura in a 3 days long visit and soon Trinamool General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee to join in the camp in Agartala, have invited Tripura Left Front for alliance with Trinamool in the upcoming 2023 Assembly Election in Tripura. West Bengal Education Minister Bratya Basu while replying to a media query at Agartala Press Club, said, "We have no problem welcoming any party as our alliance partner".
"The left has to realize that united protest is important, but what the Left had done in Bengal was that the Left leaders attempted to convince the voters saying that BJP is the national enemy whereas the Trinamool is the state's enemy. But later the Left's Secretary also accepted that this type of slogan was unnecessary. If the Left wants to make it champion in this state then there is only one name Mamata Banerjee. Instead of realizing mistakes after the poll, the Left should realize it now. The people of Tripura are realizing what type of enemy is the BJP and so, the Left also should act accordingly", Basu said.
