AGARTALA, July 30 (TIWN): Tripura Congress has welcomed Trinamool for alliance but also scolded Trinamool Congress over hypes on snatching Congress leaders through joining programmes.

The 6 persons were caught by local people first and based on locals' complaints police have booked them.

Allegations raised, the 6 persons are connected to drug peddling and spoiling not only the young generation but also targeting school children in their drug-addicted customers' list. 

Locals have demanded proper interrogation of the booked persons so that they get the deserved punishment.  

Reportedly, the locals of Ranjit Nagar area handed over six persons who are allegedly associated with drug dealers and supplies contraband items in their locality. They also alleged that the accused persons also trapped teenagers into their drug empire. On Wednesday after the locals of Ranjit Nagar caught the six youths red handed and informed the police.
