AGARTALA, July 17 (TIWN): Terminated 10323 teachers have been requesting the State Govt to solve their problems at the earliest as for 17 months, the teachers have left jobless. Though common men across Tripura have forwarded their support to the 10323 teachers but the Govt has no concern yet, though before 2018 election, BJP promised to save 10323 teachers' families. On yesterday, a new organization named "Nagarik Sahamormita" announced Rs. 2,000 per month to the terminated 10323 teachers' families for 1 Year. High Court Advocate Purushottom Roy Barman has asked people to forward their helps. He said, "This organization can function as per public help and so we request the people to come forward and help the organization".

Terminated 10323 teachers have alleged that the State Govt which before the Election promised to solve 10323 teachers' problems permanently now is waiting for all teachers' deaths. The statement came from 10323 teachers when they visited Bardowali Gramin Bank branch seeking a relaxation from Bank EMIs as their livelihood has been collapsed for the last 17 months.

Addressing the media, a terminated teacher said, "It has been 17 months that we are jobless. We were paying EMIs till our jobs remained but after we lost our jobs, we could not pay the money to Banks. It is not possible for any teacher to pay the debts now.

Many teachers died and many are suffering from various diseases, unable to pay debts. We talked to the Bank authority earlier also and the Bank understood our problems. The Bank is inseparable from the Govt but still we are undergoing tremendous pressure from the Banks".

"What kind of guardian is Tripura Govt which does not have minimum sympathy for jobless teachers ? We don't have earning and then we are pressured to pay loans. The Govt talks about Vikas and acts as guardian but what kind of guardian are they pushing us towards deaths ? Amid no job and crisis, debt burdens are just means to leave the teachers to die", the teacher added.
