AGARTALA, July 17 (TIWN): Reacting over the tendency of a section of people to violate the Curfew guidelines, SDPO Sadar Ramesh Yadav has said, the public should understand that the rules, guidelines were implemented only for public welfare and to ensure everyone's safety.

"If on the Weekend, you stay at home, you will ultimately stay safe from Coronavirus. So I request everyone to follow the Govt rules and observe the Weekend Curfew", said SDPO Ramesh Yadav.

"Police are on duty from 6 AM. Legal actions against the violators are underway........many people are not taking the Covid seriously yet and accordingly, actions are being taken", the cop added.
