AGARTALA, July 14 (TIWN): Addressing media at the Secretariat, Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath said that political programmes with social distancing is permissible whereas at the same time, Tripura Police not giving permission to opposition, 10323 teachers. It was claimed by Ratan Lal Nath that BJP did not do a single programme without permission which is a total lie by the Law Minister. If Ratan Lal's statement is taken as true, then the question raises, why can't common men organize any programme ? 10323 teachers are unable to organize any programme as Police cited Corona Curfew, Section 144. 10323 teachers were arrested amid their social distancing maintained programme and when teachers go to the police stations, they are not given permission to organize protests.

Now, as per Law Minister's statement, police permitted BJP's all rallies. Now, can the police answer how come it permitted BJP's programmes amid Section 144 ?

The controversy is on peak as in Tripura only BJP is allowed to organize programmes and no other mainstream political party (CPI-M, Congress), common men's group are not allowed to protest.

In the last 18 days, 10323 teachers were arrested after they tried to organize protests, programmes in Agartala.
