AGARTALA, July 14 (TIWN): Two siblings while taking bath in the River came in contact with electric wire and got electrocuted, such a pathetic incident occurred at Collegetilla Professor area.

The elder brother has been identified as Tanmoy Deb (13) and the younger one identified as Hridoy Deb(6). Eye witnesses informed Fire Station but both the brothers were taken to hospital before fire Station personnel arrived at the incident spot. It is known, Hridoy was declared dead after being taken to IGM hospital.

The dead body was taken to the GB hospital for an autopsy.

Such an incident has brought the shadow of mourning in the area.

Meanwhile, locals said the electric wire has been lying torn for several days but the authorities did not take steps to repair it which leads to an accident.
