AGARTALA, July 13 (TIWN): Assembly Speaker Rebati Mohan Das's egg-eyes came out seeing IPFT MLA Brishketu Debbarma accompanied by Tipra Motha Chief Pradyot Manikya in his office with an official resignation letter of Brishketu Debbarma from the MLA post.

In the presence Pradyot Manikya and media, the Speaker was forced to accept IPFT MLA Brishketu Debbarma's resignation letter.

Earlier, Ratan Lal Nath who pretends himself as a legal expert found an unique way to reject Brishketu Debbarma's resignation letter and as per his suggestion, the Speaker earlier told media that he might not accept the resignation if he is not satisfied. Also, the speaker claimed that he will check whether any person's provocation is behind this resignation.

Today, Pradyot Manikya himself was present when Brishketu Debbarma resigned from the MLA post. The leader already had joined Tipra Motha party via a joining programme.

Being resented with IPFT over its alliance with BJP and no freedom of MLAs to work independently, Brishketu Debbarma has resigned.

Now, as the MLA post has been vacated, bye-poll will be conducted for the vacant seat at Simna constituency.
