AGARTALA, July 12 (TIWN): In a major embarrassment, Central Govt's data has exposed one of the ongoing scams in Tripura in the name of Coronavirus to draw Central funds and to stop opposition voices and also targeting to suppress the common men like 10323 teachers' protest. In Agartala, it is now around 2 months that Curfew is going on and people's livelihood is stuck in crisis but the Govt now has imposed more curfews after observation of Weekend curfew and many were used to pay fine for the violations. Central Govt has clearly notified that it is a fake news and myth that Delta+ was found in Tripura but the source of the news is none other than Biplab Deb's own Dept Health Dept. The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare declared yesterday, "No case of Delta Plus reported from sample sequencing in Tripura The samples tested revealed cases of Delta Variant".

There were some Media reports regarding rising cases of Delta Plus variants in Tripura. In this regard, it is informed that : 

•152 samples were sent from Tripura to NIBMG Kalyani for Whole Genome Sequence(WGS). 

•The random samples were of people tested RT-PCR positive between April and May 2021 

•The results of the WGS done at NIBMG Kalyani reveal- 

1) 3 samples had tested positive for B.1.1.7 

2) 11 samples had tested positive for B.1.617.1(Kappa) 

3) 138 samples had tested positive for B.1.617.2 (Delta) 

There was no case of Delta Plus reported among the aforementioned lot of sequenced samples.

But Tripura Govt's Fake Data has generated massive resentment :  Central Govt clarified : "No case of Delta Plus reported from sample sequencing in Tripura  The samples tested revealed cases of Delta Variant". 

There are also other allegations like vaccination updates as many people without vaccination are getting vaccinated messages from the Covid portal, which also has created massive controversies in state.
