AGARTALA, July 11 (TIWN): Due to the Corona-virus pandemic, no Ratha-Yatra will be celebrated in Agartala and other parts of Tripura. The rituals will be observed by the temples but people from outside the temple are allowed. ISKCON also did not invite any guests so that no crowd will occur tomorrow.
Throughout the whole nation, the same will be done in all Jagannath temples due to the pandemic.
Ratha-yatra is scheduled to be held tomorrow but no gathering was allowed in the Ratha-yatra festival.
Unlike other years, the Ratha will be kept in the MBB College area, not in the traditional place, said a priest.
ISKCON authorities asked people to enjoy Ratha-Yatra by YouTube channel and also the temple has a social media page where live updates will be coming.
