AGARTALA, July 9 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Friday visited Sepahijala Sanctuary and checked the management there.
Talking to media, Biplab Deb said that due to Covid-19 all services are being affected and consequently the zoo has not been escaped from the pandemic.
"Whether the animals are getting proper treatment by the authorities here, to check the ground reality is the purpose of my visit", added Biplab Deb.
CM's visit was reportedly a surprise visit.
