AGARTALA, July 9 (TIWN): Sadar administration in collaboration with All Tripura Marchent Association conducted drive to aware masses to follow the Covid 19 guidelines amid Tripura's 7th position in Covid positivity case published by Central Data based on last 7 days survey. On Friday, Sadar administration led by SDM Ashim Saha conducted massive awareness drive in different markets of Agartala. While talking to media the SDM said, "As markets are closed by 2 pm, people gathering increases during this time. To ensure the safety of the shopkeeper as well as the customers, they need to follow the Covid 19 guidelines strictly. But we often notice people are least interested to even wear the mask. Even today also we have noticed a section of people are unwilling to take the guidelines seriously. We have taken this initiative again to aware people regarding wearing double mask for safety. We will continue such drives in different places of Agartala."

Amid massive administrative drives across the state and a long time Curfew, there is not much development in the small populated state Tripura as National Data has listed the State at 7th rank in rising Covid positivity rates. In a 7 days survey, death rate was shown as 0.7 and positivity rate has also increased a parent. Recently, the Central Govt team has visited Tripura to submit a report to Delhi on the increasing Covid cases.
