AGARTALA, July 8 (TIWN): A speeding Maruti car lost control and hit a bike and crashed into a shop on the side of the National Highway. The bike driver and a pillion rider were seriously injured in the road mishap and the shop owner somehow survived in a short time from being injured. The incident took place in Sekerkot tea garden area under Amtali PS.
It is learned that a Maruti vehicle registered number-TR 01AU 0290 was coming from Kanchanmala and hardly hit an Avenger bike heading towards Agartala from the direction of Bishalgarh and crashed into a shop at National Highway. The accident news was given to the fire department and Amtali PS and upon receiving the news of the incident, the staff of Badharghat Fire Department including Amtali PS rushed to the spot. The injured were rescued and taken to Hapania Hospital.
Centering the horrific road-mishap on today morning panic generated in the entire area.
