AGARTALA, July 8 (TIWN): A police team deployed from Bodhjung Nagar police station has arrested a person in the link of a Gold Smuggling case from Kashipur area on Wednesday mid night.

The suspected has been identified as Bishnupada Nag, who owns a Jewellery shop named Nag Jewellery.

Acting on a tip off the Bodhjung Nagar police raided the house of Nag Jewellery's owner on Wednesday night. From there they have arrested him. While talking to Media the police said, "We've got the information from our higher authority to raid this house in link with a gold smuggling case. We are taking him on interrogation purpose regarding a case reference of Karimganj TSR camp."

However, the details of the case is yet to be known. The suspect on being asked said he has no idea regarding this case.
