A staff of the Kumarghat De-addiction Center said that the drug addicted youth had been undergoing treatment at the De-addiction Center since the last 10 days. The staff also said on 26th June the youth had come alone to the rehab center for treatment and his health condition was very critical, even though he was not in condition to walk properly. On Tuesday suddenly the youth was suffering from stomach pain then he was brought to Kumarghat hospital. Meanwhile, the doctor of the hospital informed that the young man died before he was brought to the hospital.

 

On hearing of the incident Kumarghat police rushed to the hospital and the body was recovered, sent for autopsy. The body was handed over to the family after an autopsy on Wednesday.
