AGARTALA, July 7 (TIWN): Statewide protests in Tripura over India-Pakistan War memorial demolition. Congress on Wednesday protested against the demolition of the War memorial in the Post Office Chowmuhani.
Congress alleged, this move was an intrigue to diminish the history just because BJP has a political confrontation against Congress and former PM India Gandhi who helped in Bangaldesh's liberation had been a Congress leader.
Police have arrested all the Congress members participated in the protest. The opposition Congress has demanded reinstallation of the Post Office Chowmuhani War Memorial.
