AGARTALA, July 6 (TIWN): "Amra 10323" teachers organization has paid tribute to the demised 10323 teachers who have died during the struggle for livelihood.

The programme was held in front of Agartala City Centre but in the middle of the programme, the teachers were all arrested by police.

Terminated teachers raised the question, why police do not take action when political gatherings happen but without listening to the teachers, police have arrested them. 

On being asked, SDPO Ramesh Yadav said, due to Covid arrests are mandatory as Corona is killing people. 

The teachers are already facing many legal cases centering various protests and movements conducted by them.
