AGARTALA, July 5 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb who turned himself a 'Memes-material' figure by 2018 had also promised about establishing a "model state" by 3 years. But after 3.4 years have gone, the status of the state Tripura is worse than ever with rapid rise in unemployment, political crisis, clashes and deteriorating law and order in the State.
Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on October 5, 2018 had assured the people of Tripura as well as the nation that "Tripura to be a model state in next 3 years" He promised that while he was being interviewed in "India Today". Same was claimed by the CM many times in Agartala.
He said, "I will make Tripura a model state in the next 3 years and out of them 6 month is already gone and in the next 2 and half years it will be done. The Government is working in that direction".
Biplab Deb also said at the Secretariat, "I will not fight the next election if the Vision Document is not fulfilled".
When CM promised "Model State in 3 years" Tripura's unemployment toll went at 40%.
Being asked by India Today journalist Rahul Kanwal what he did in the last 6 months, Deb replied, he made the whole system "transparent" assuring "I will make Tripura a model state in next 3 years".
However, after 3.4 years of the Governance, unemployment has remained on peak and Vision Document's promises like 50,000 Govt jobs in a year to 10323 teachers recruitment have turned into "fake promises".
Biplab Deb was also trolled nationally for his hypes on income-sources based on cow-rearing but his idea on Dairy-Industrialization has also been flopped.
