AGARTALA, June 30 (TIWN): Based on secret information, Jirania police led a raid at a bus at Champaknagar Checking point and detained 2 persons for being involved with smuggling.

Acting on a tip off Jirania Police led by SI, Uttam Debbarma seized a huge amount of dry cannabis while being taken from Agartala to Teliamura.

In this connection police arrested 2 persons, identified as Mithilesh Kumar, 27 years old of Baishali District, Bihar and Ramesh Kumar, 22 years old of Patna Bihar.

Both the youths were carrying the cannabis illegally.

Police rushed to the spot and took them to Police Station and after investigation it will reveal who else are involved with this cannabis smuggling.
