An NDPS Case's Accused Escaped from Toilet Ventilator from Kadamtala PS

AGARTALA, June 29 (TIWN): An accused of NDPS case has managed to escape from a toilet window in Tripura.
The incident took place at Kadamtala PS. He was arrested under Cas No-37, NDPS, Kadamtala PS.
The accused named Faruk Ahmed was arrested on Sunday with huge amounts of Yaba Tablets. Accordingly he was produced before the Court and Judge sent him for 3 days police remand but on Tuesday morning, the accused has managed to escape from lockup.
He went to the toilet, but after 10 minutes, when he was not returning, police opened the door and saw that the accused had escaped.
This incident has raised eyebrows on Kadamtala Police's role.
