AGARTALA, June 29 (TIWN): On May 7, 2020 Tripura CM Biplab Deb announced a compensation amount of Rs 10 lakhs for the family members of those who died fighting COVID-19.
But the ground reality is the declared amount Rs 10 lakhs is far away Rs 10 also no one received yet.
Alok Debnath, a resident of East Lakshibil Shivtila Ward No-5 in Bishalgarh, died of corona infection. He has two sons and there are no income sources, even no one else in the family to earn money. Alok’s family is facing severe crisis and surviving under starvation, the family is now in such a condition not even to do the last rites of Alok.
The helpless family requested the government to come forward to help the two children to overcome this situation.
There are many such families who need Govt's help right now but after 1 year of passage no resolution was brought by Biplab Deb Govt to end the problems.
