AGARTALA, June 24 (TIWN): Amid increasing unemployment rates, Tripura's unemployment rate is highest in whole Northeast as per CMIE data.

Tripura's unemployment rate is 20% whereas Assam's unemployment rate is only 0.1%, Sikkim 4.2%

 In other words, BJP led State Govt in Tripura has cheated the unemployed youths by cancelling ongoing recruitment process, as before 2018 election, BJP had promised about recruiting 50000 persons in Govt Depts which were already vacant under the then Left Govt but instead, the recruitment turned almost nil. Though certain reliefs were given to the TET qualified teachers but in other departments the recruitment is nil.   

Now due to Covid-19 recruitment is paused but what was the Govt doing in the last 2 years ? Why did not cancel ongoing recruitment in 2018 ? Amid Covid situation why are the cancelled recruitments not resumed ?
