AGARTALA, June 20 (TIWN): Death toll among 10323 teachers has risen to 103 and Justice for 10323 teachers have paid tribute to the departed souls. At the same time, the organization members have requested Tripura Govt to look after the families and to fulfill Vision Document promises by saving 10323 teachers' livelihoods. Addressing media, JMC Joint Convener Ajay Debbarma the deaths are happening only due to Tripura Govt's "negligence" towards the families. He also asked why out of 58 writ petitions one petition was relaxed by violating the Court's order ? After 103 deaths no MLA, no Minister have visited the devastated families' houses yet. On the other side, attacks on 10323 teachers goes rampant as miscreants have burnt a car of 10323 teacher's husband which was the only source of livelihood of the family. Reacting against the incident, JMC member Kamal Deb said, "The incident took place at Salema constituency, Bamunchara.Â
Terminated teacher Subharani Sarkar's husband Pranajit Namasudra was earning his livelihood with this car. The car was kept in their home but the miscreants could not tolerate that also and eventually they set the car on fire. The car was bought after she lost job and somehow managed to buy the car and like cowards they burnt it after throwing petrol on it".
"So many teachers are still ill. Terminated teacher Rajesh Roy's father died out of tension for his son. We want nobody to die anymore and the Govt would take care of the families", added Kamal Deb.
