AGARTALA, June 17 (TIWN): In the name of bike rally, the BJP's goons led by Bibhishan Das, Ranjit Sarkar (Mandal president) and Divakar Nandi organized attacks on CPI-M workers across the entire Rajnagar assembly constituency today.

Pre-poll fake promises and misrule in the last 3 years has destroyed BJP’s popularity among common people in the state.  Seeing no way, the ruling party’s goons are organizing attacks on CPI-M supporters to show their power. Amid curfew, BJP miscreants are destroying the state’s peace by creating violence.

Reportedly, BJP goons held an attack on CPI-M supporter Lakshan Chanda.

Seriously injured Lakshan alleged that his house and shop were vandalized and then the miscreants set fire in his house.  Reportedly, CPI-M activist, Lakshan was severely beaten up by BJP miscreants and after the incident he was taken to Rajnagar Hospital and then he was referred to Belonia hospital. On receiving news MLA, Sudhan Das rushed to Belonia Hospital to know his health condition.
