Agartala,Aug 26,(TIWN) Vice President Hamid Ansari is likely to open the new-look Ujjayanta Palace in the first week of the next-month, sources said today.

Till date, though, there is no official confirmation. Mr. Ansari would be here to inaugurate the newly built state museum in the Palace with other dignitaries of the State People are eying for this ‘event’ to take place.

After massive renovation, the Palace is all set to start its new journey. The symbol of Tripura’s princely rulers is ready to house the state museum. PWD and the State Higher Education Department have almost completed the interior and other related works, said an Official from PWD.
