AGARTALA, June 7 (TIWN): 30 years old housewife committed suicide by poisoning herself at in-laws home over physical torture by husband and mother-in-law.

A housewife was seriously injured after getting poisoned at her in-laws home in Khowai Chebri area, after the incident she was first taken to Khowai District Hospital. Noticing the housewife's deteriorating health condition she was referred to Agartala GB hospital. After 7 long days of treatment, the housewife breathed last at GB hospital today. 

The name of the deceased housewife Supriya Debnath, 30 years old, husband, Jayanta Debnath, resident of Jambura, Khowai. The housewife's brother complained that her husband and mother-in-law often tortured her physically, also allegation raised that after marriage the husband had been pressured to bring money from her brother.

Over fed up from in-laws physical torture, the housewife committed suicide by poisoning.  However, the housewife's brother said to the media that he will file a case against the husband and mother-in-law at the PS.
