AGARTALA, May 30 (TIWN): On 6 - Agartala Assembly constituency MLA Sudip Roy Barman's concern about the current coronavirus situation, his supports from “Bondhu manei Sudip†are working forward to keep the deadly infection at bay. As part of this program, masks, sanitizers were distributed to the pedestrians, traders, and the public today, and oxygen levels were monitored with oximeters and thermal check-ups were also performed.
Bishu Ranjan Debbarman, Ashish Deb, Badal Saha, Alok Debnath, Kajal Roy, Shyamal Acharya, Amalendu Dev Roy, Raju Singh and others were present on the day. In the current Corona situation, various voluntary organizations, as well as the MLAs, are carrying out such programs in all parts of the state. Alok Ranjan Goswami, an activist of ‘Sudip Cholo’, said that a toll-free number has been provided to the people so that they do not face any difficulty in the Corona situation and if necessary the volunteers will visit their homes. At present, the state has imposed a curfew to prevent the spread of Corona infection, so people have to stay at home. Some patients are also undergoing treatment at home, so to support them, the activists of 'Sudip Cholo' said that they will continue taking such initiatives in the coming days.
