AGARTALA, May 29 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb's Saturday press meet was less informative, rather elaboration of visionless Governance. Throughout the press meet, not a single line he dedicated for the Covid-19 demised patients' families whom last year he promised to pay Rs. 10 lakhs each. In reply to journalists queries no specific data could be given from high mortality rate in a day to ICU reservation like decisions. Losing massive public support due to fake promises before 2018 election till today, when public has no interest to digest anymore new promise Biplab Deb has announced a scheme for the orphan children amid uncountable unfulfilled promises like financial help to the E-Rickshaw drivers in 2020 to permanent solution of the 10323 teachers.
Last year in Covid-19 huge numbers of patients died in oxygen shortage and this year also, no development was seen in the Covid Care Centres where unhygienic condition, uneatable food quality have erupted resentment. Even Covid Care centre has been given up to private hands with high costs, as the Govt totally failed to ensure public care. In such a small populated state, yesterday 13 Covid deaths and today 9 deaths took place, though Biplab Deb in reply claimed that mortality rate is lower than other states.
In Tripura Govt employees who were promised to get 7th Pay Commission received ESMA like law's implementation's jolts.
