AGARTALA, May 29 (TIWN): In Corona curfew, officials of the Belonia sub-divisional administration launched a tight administrative drive on Saturday. The administrative drive was led by Belonia sub-divisional administrator, Manik Lal Das, Police officer, Soumya Debbarma, Belonia PS,OC, Srikanth Bardhan under the leadership of DCM on Saturday morning. The tight administrative drive took place in the market areas of various places in Belonia.

According to government guidelines unnecessary roaming is strictly prohibited due to high risk of 2nd wave in the state but some students and parents were noticed by the administration while taking their children on bike from private teacher's house.

Later the students were stopped and asked to know about the private teacher details and then the officials met with the teacher and instructed not to put students in groups in such a situation. 

On one side the cruelty of Covid positive cases is rapidly increasing in the state and on the other side teachers are teaching students in groups, which are really generating tension.

Amid all such tough situations, the administration continues its attempts to keep the people aware about COVID but some irresponsible citizens are not taking this COVID- 19 seriously.
