AGARTALA, May 28 (TIWN): Death Toll among 10323 teachers have reached to 98 as one more teacher has died yesterday in the state. The terminated teachers alleged that they did not get any termination letter by person from the Education Dept yet. With 98 teachers' deaths, 98 families have been devastated financially. In another unfortunate incident one more terminated teacher Sukhadeb Dey (47) has died of Heart Attack. The Joint Movement Committee  of 10323 has condoled his death. His death was reported after two more teachers Nandita Debbarma and Kajal Bhattacharjee had died recently. Kajal Bhattacharjee was suffering from severe kidney disease and due to job-loss no proper treatment could be done to him and also medicines could not be purchased. The terminated teachers said that they do not want to lose any more colleagues and requested the CM Biplab Deb and Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath to keep promises.

A terminated 10323 teacher Litan Deb who recently posted in social media that he wants to sell his organs due to poverty has gripped his family, today in front of media said, he really wants to sell his kidney and his facebook post about kidney selling announcement was correct as he remained with no other option than this.

Talking to media in Agartala, Litan Das said, "I am one of the 10323 teachers and I was working in Udaipur Kakraban school as UGT teacher but due to sudden termination like other 10323 teachers, my condition has also turned critical now. All my savings are finished. The whole state is witnessing how 10323 teachers are dying due to job-loss, how the teachers were beaten up, tortured while protesting with demands. Due to Covid situation, I have no other option to survive except selling my kidney. If needed, I will sell my eyes and whole body unless the Govt looks at us with a humanitarian gesture. I request the Chief Minister and Education Minister to save the 10323 teachers' families".

BJP before election verbally and in writing gave various types of promises to all 10323 teachers. BJP said in 2018, once it will come in power, by any means each of the 10323 teacher's problems will be solved but after voted to power, BJP Govt just has taken 360 degree turn from the promises amid so far 97 teachers died and many died from heart attack.
