AGARTALA, May 23 (TIWN): Death Toll of Tripura's terminated 10323 teachers has raised to 97 as one more teacher Kajal Bhattacharjee (51) has died on Sunday. He was suffering from severe kidney disease and due to job-loss no proper treatment could be done to him and also medicines could not be purchased. Kajal Bhattacharjee (51) was a graduate teacher, resident of Ajagar Tilla, Khowai. 10323 teachers have condoled his death and requested the State Govt to stand with the families of 10323 teachers. The terminated teachers said that they do not want to lose any more colleagues and requested CM Biplab Deb and Education Minister Ratanlal Nath to keep their promises.

The ruling BJP Party which had promised to solve 10323 teachers' problems has failed to keep its promise. The teachers lost jobs after the Supreme Court's verdict in 2017 and then they worked for few years in ad-hoc but the 10323 teachers have complained that the verdict was misinterpreted and their terminations never happened.  The Left and the BJP parties both promised to solve their problems once voted to power and after the 2018 Assembly Poll, BJP came into power but it also failed to keep its promise given to 10323 teachers.
