BISHALGARH, May 21 (TIWN): Bishalgarh Netaji Nagar's Kali temple priest Dipak Acharjee was severely beaten up, humiliated after he raised voice against local leaders' negligence and Asha workers threw away PPE kits in the temple premise. After he protested and his statement was shown in TV channels, he was beaten up by BJP workers asking why had the priest told the media everything ? Chief Minister Biplab Deb though lighted candles over West Bengal post poll violence but in his own state, everyday violence, barbaric attacks are in constant report. Yesterday a viral video had shocked the state where a DYFI activist was beaten up, forced to chant "Jai Sri Ram" slogan and allegedly was also forced for urination on DYFI's hat and today this priest's attack news came out.

Statewide massive breakdown of law and order are being reported in Tripura. 

On May 19, Tripura Minister N.C.Debbarma himself said that Tripura has no "Rule of Law". He said this reacting over various violence in the state where he himself was trapped to face it at Jampuijala.
