AGARTALA, May 21 (TIWN): In a shocking note, it has been known that in 171 promotions of sub-inspectors there was no economic growth for the promoted officials. . 

Yesterday, after the promotion celebrational videos and photos were published from NCC PS, netizens had hailed the State Govt but it's now an upsetting information that there was no pay hike in this promotion though duties and responsibilities have been increased. It has erupted huge resentment among the officials, said source.

In a local newspaper in Tripura, this promotion has been termed as a "Lollipop". 

Reportedly, the grade of the officials were not even changed, which is a total violation of the employees' rights.
