AGARTALA, May 18 (TIWN): On 17th May, based on specific BSF intelligence input a joint spl depth patrolling party comparaising of BSF troops of Border Out Post Karamtila and Border Out Post Amlighat recovered large quantity of cannabis (Ganja) and Phensidyl from the border area under Sabroom Sub-Divison.

In that troops of 31 Bn BSF BOP Karamtila and BOP Amlighat were able to recover 45 Kilos of Ganja and 275 Bottles of Phensidyl from forest area.Value of seized Ganja worth Rs 2,25,000/- and Phensidyl worth Rs 51,328.75. The total market value is Rs 2,76, 328.75 (Two lakh seventy six thousand three hundred twenty eight Rupees and seventy five paise). The seized items are being handed over to Police of PS Manu bazar (South Tripura) for further investigation.
