AGARTALA, May 17 (TIWN): In another ongoing corruption chain, local people have busted the crime-network of Govt cement's sale and also caught the culprit behind the illegal operation at Hrishyamukh, Belonia under South Tripura Dist.
Getting information, Police rushed to the spot and recovered 300 cement bags on spot from one Apu Baidya's house.
Reportedly, Apu Baidya is Work Assistant of Rural Development at Santir Bazar. Earlier also he allegedly stocked Govt rods in his home.
Local people were trying to catch him red-handed but finally today when two vehicles were seen unloading cement infront of his home, then they rushed to the spot and busted the corruption.
'Not for Sale' was written on the cover of the cement bags. Locals have demanded proper investigation in this matter.
