AGARTALA, May 17 (TIWN): Tripura’s capital city Agartala’s coronavirus positive rate was found above 65% in comparison to the whole state which led the city to go for a Corona Curfew for 10 days. The roads remained almost empty on Monday. From morning tight vigilance by the police was witnessed in market areas and vehicle check is made compulsory.
Meanwhile, SDPO Ramesh Yadav runs enforcement at Durga Chowmuhani Bazaar in Agartala for masks and social distance. During the drive, he said that almost everyone is following the rules of the government but in some cases, it is seen that a few citizens are not abiding by the law and were fined as per the law.
Meanwhile, the number of active cases in Tripura increases by 1,096 in the last 24 hours.
