
AGARTALA, May 15 (TIWN):Hanging body of a man was recovered from the bathroom of his house in Khayerpur Bazar area today in the early morning.
The 59 years old deceased is identified as Suresh Chandra Das. While the Khayerpur police interrogated the family members, it was known that due to financial crisis Suresh chose to end his life by hanging himself with a nylon rope.
After a preliminary investigation, his body was taken to GBP Hospital for an autopsy and later handed him over to his family.
Earlier today, debt-ridden over a Bandhan Bank loan Abhijit Debnath, a 30-year-old man, committed suicide by hanging. The incident took place on Friday night at a rubber garden near Matabari Kamarbagh SPO camp under Udaipur Radha Kishorepur police station.
After primary investigation it was known the old man committed suicide with nylon rope over financial crisis, said a police official. However, police also said their investigation against this case will be continued. The body was sent to the morgue of Agartala GB Hospital and the dead body of Surest will be handed over to the deceased’s family after an autopsy. The unnatural death of Suresh has descended the shadow of mourning over his family.
