AGARTALA, May 11 (TIWN): In Hira era, murders, terrorism, mafia raj and snatching have become a daily occurrence, a 27 years old man brutally beaten to death centering a bike accident. Such a horrific incident took place in Boxnagar Kalamchaura PS area.
It is learned that on April 13, Biswajit Sarkar ,27 years old son of Anil Sarkar of South Kalamchoura, New Colony area under Boxnagar block had hit Arjun Das of Manikya Nagar area. Arjun had received injuries after he was hit by Biswajit’s bike.
Centering the incident later, Arjun Das's friends had brutally beaten up Biswajit Das and snatched his 25000 rupees and two rings.
It was informed to Kalamchaura PS, but Bishnupad Bhumi, the OC of Kalamchaura PS was initially reluctant to take a case against the criminal, Arjun Das immediately after the incident, alleged the demise family.
Later local people first took Biswajit Sarkar to Boxnagar Health Center in critical condition, and then the on-duty doctors referred him to TMC Hospital for better treatment. Over observing critical health conditions he was then referred to GB Hospital. As improving Biswajit’s health condition after a few days of treatment, he was brought at home.
But victim Biswajit’s health condition was again deteriorating slowly and his family admitted him immediately to the ILS hospital. After a long fight of 28 days in various hospitals including ILS, Biswajit lost his at ILS Hospital at 3 pm on Monday.
Later the family after the death of Biswajit, rushed to Kalamchaura PS and filed a case against the criminal, Arjun Das. The police have taken a Case No. 20/21 and 341/384/325 under IPC against Arjun.
Biswajit Sarkar's family alleges Arjun including his culprit friends killed Biswajit brutally.
In this shocking incident, the local people of the area including Biswajit's family gheraoed the premises of Kalamchoura PS at 2 pm on Tuesday by demanding justice.
Centering Biswajit’s death has caused stir in Boxanagar area, also the demise’s family broke down into tears.
