AGARTALA, May 8 (TIWN): Censorships, Restrictions in news publications through Disaster Management Act had successfully suppressed Covid-19 factual news publication by the local media in 2020. The freedom of press was curtailed at a major level under the ongoing Dictator regime of Biplab Deb and the terror still continues as no Doctor, Medical Officer gives data directly to media and unofficial data can not be published by State-based media. Amid all the media-censorship, there are viral videos, netizens' social media live and videos released about their family's suffering has been exposed Health Dept's paralyzed condition time to time in Tripura. On Sep 12, GB Hospital's oxygen supply problem had hit the service which was already suffering from additional problems of pipeline related issues. On that time Sudip Roy Barman who was terminated from Health Ministry by Biplab Deb helped the hospital with Biomedical Instrumentation Engineer Ratul Dey and solved the problem which suddenly erupted on 12th Sep, 2020 night. However, instead of thanking Sudip Roy Barman's team, FIR was lodged against the team but the investigation yet to be completed.
Oxygen Shortage problem issues published in local media.
Today Tripura CM Biplab Ded while visiting an oxygen plant said that the Oxygen shortage of 2020 was Artificial. Now, question raises, how does Biplab Deb know the investigation outcome before investigation completion ? It's giving a clear note that investigation is Scripted and manipulated already and can't be unbiased.
