It was alleged the man, Dayal Ram Das visits at different shops and extorts huge amounts of money from shopkeepers at Eknumber tilla. Over getting resentful the local mob gheraoed and handed him over to Belonia Police on Thursday. 

Meanwhile, it was noticed the man could not speak properly as he was in drunken state. Due to his drunken state he was repeatedly changing his statement over his job department, once he said he is a Health Department employee and after a certain time he again said he is a Food Department employee.

Questions are being raised by locals whether he is really an employee of any department or he is making shopkeepers fool day after day by extorting money.
