AGARTALA, May 7 (TIWN): Tripura BJP has launched sets of protests over West Bengal's claimed Post Poll violence though most of the Poll violence report, torture on women are fake and rest factual news also share victims from various political parties including Trinamool. Along with Bengal, there are more places where disturbances are going on which are run by BJP and one of those states is Uttar Pradesh, where BJP has received major defeat in Panchayat poll, 1 year ahead of the state's Assembly Election. As per report, till yesterday at least 5 persons died in post poll violence since Tuesday. However, though these reports were less shown in national media, BJP has totally ignored the state, keeping it out of discussion. The Panchayat poll results were announced from Monday to Wednesday, show the Samajwadi Party outperforming the ruling BJP as it had done in 2016. However fingers have been raised against both parties for the violence, whereas in Bengal 95% of the report spread by BJP claimed as Fake.

BJP also posted India Today journalist's photo claiming he was a BJP worker and killed and later the journalist said, he is quite okay and has no link with such any incident.

Violence after the panchayat elections continued in Uttar Pradesh with a woman relative of a newly-elected Block Development Committee (BDC) member and several others getting injured in Bareilly late on Wednesday night. In Sitapur, three people, including nephew of a newly-elected gram pradhan (village head), were critically injured when rivals attacked them on Thursday morning.

Assistant SP (Rural) Rajkumar Agarwal said that ten people, including Meena Devi, were injured in the attack and were rushed to a hospital where their condition was stated to be stable.  The family members of the deceased accused vanquished gram pradhan candidate Munish Gangwar and BDC member candidate Yogendra of orchestrating the attack. An FIR was registered in this connection and six people were detained. Meanwhile in Sitapur, the newly-elected gram pradhan of Kanwakheda in Ramkot police station area was fired at in which three of his kin and supporters were injured on Thursday morning. On being informed of the incident, cops from half-a-dozen police stations, along with senior officers, rushed to the spot and camped there upon finding tension in the village. As per reports, Maharaj Singh Yadav of Gangapur won the election for Gram Pradhan of Kanwa Khera in Ramkot. On Thursday morning, his nephew Guddu Yadav went to the local market to purchase some items, While he was making the purchases, some supporters of a rival candidate also reached there and hurled expletives at him leading to a confrontation. It took an ugly turn as Maharaj also reached the spot and his rivals opened fire in which Guddu and his friend Anoop were injured. After the assailants escaped, Maharaj went to his rival Haji Rizwan's house to complain. Instead of hearing him out, Haji’s men again attacked Maharaj and his men injuring another supporter. As the locals rallied behind Maharaj, the opposite party fled the scene of crime. The three injured were rushed to District Hospital, a case was registered against Haji Rizwan and his supporters and efforts were on to nab the accused.
