AGARTALA, May 6 (TIWN): The skeleton of a man, 40 years old has been recovered from deep forest at Nandannagar, Debaram Thakur para under East Police Station.
The skeleton has been identified as Jutan Chandra Das, around 40 years old, S/o- Subal Chandra Das.
Upon receiving the news huge police force rushed to the spot and recovered the dead body. It is known Jutan went missing on 17th April, his family filed a missing diary case at PS but it was alleged the police did not cooperate with the family to find out Jutan.
Later on Thursday Jutan’s rotten body was spotted by 2 tribal youths of that area while they brought fuel wood from deep forest, and immediately informed demise’s family. The family members recognised Jutan's skeleton by seeing clothes he was wearing.
Talking to his family it is known Jutan tried to attempt Suicide just before a day he went missing, and also he beaten up his wife and mother the day before he went missing.
However, yet not recovered how he died, but further investigation will be continued, said Police officials.
