AGARTALA, May 5 (TIWN): Locals organized Frogs' Marriage at Durga Bari Tea Garden hoping rains.

The organizers said that earlier also in such dry seasons whenever they organized frogs' marriage, the result was shown immediately with the blessings of God and so this year also due to extreme dry season, they are depending only on God.

Locals said that it is a part of Ganga puja.

"Tea production needs huge raining but this year our gardens are getting burnt but no solution. Thus hoping raining soon, this puja has been organized", said a local.

Childen (male) were made naked and they were asked to act like frog and women were seen puring water on them and in hands of children, the marriage was completed.
